Our popular and superfun sponsored walk, Mile for a Meal, is back for 2016!

Teachers and educators, we’d love your school to take part! Children can run, walk, dance, cycle or even swim a mile. Fancy dress is encouraged, and favourite teddies can come along too!

It’s a brilliant challenge both for individual children and for the whole school. All we ask is that children are sponsored 50p. This is the cost of a nutritious meal at The Andrew Grene High School in Cité Soleil, Haiti, so every mile completed buys a delicious and healthy lunch.

Andy Jeffery-Clarke, Principal of The Welland Academy, says ‘Mile for a Meal has been one of the simplest fundraising events I have run. The event takes very little planning and organisation, requires limited resources and outlay and can quickly engage an entire school community in supporting a highly worthwhile cause’.
