New garden at the Andrew Grene High School

New garden at the Andrew Grene High School

The site on day 1

In just four days, a team of volunteers from the UK and France transformed an area at the Andrew Grene High School from a wasteland into a garden, which will provide Moringa, Mango, Lemons. Basil and Egg plants to supplement the school meals and enhance the diet of our students in the coming months.

Thank you to James Sharp, Sam Holden and Jeremy Chausse, who worked tirelessly in the heat to make this a reality.  Now it’s over to four students from our school to continue to nurture these plants and to ensure that they grow into healthy plants and trees.
