We’re delighted to have been chosen as an affiliated charity to work alongside the UK based company, Mooncup Limited – providing reusable sanitary wear for female students at the Andrew Grene High School.
Mooncups are reusable and last for up to 10 years. Most importantly, owning a Mooncup will ensure girls do not miss any classes at the AGHS.
So far, 40 students have been issued with the Mooncup, as well as our female staff members. Thanks to our charity partnership with Mooncup, we are able to purchase these products at reduced rates – and thanks to the generosity of a corporate supporter, sarahboddy.com, the first 200 Mooncups are already paid for.
Pictured here is Phania, our deputy head teacher and Louvencia, one of our final year students, who are the first ambassadors for the project, and will be helping to roll the project out throughout the school in the coming months.
If you’d like to make a contribution towards providing AGHS students with Mooncups, please donate via our donate page.
