Our in-country headteacher, Andy Bien-Aimè recently received an Honour and Merit award from the Group Konbit.
A konbit is a term used to describe when a group of people come together to accomplish a project in their community. It is a term that embodies the solidarity among the Haitian people and the desire to do whatever one can to help their community advance.
Andy has been awarded this on behalf of AGF, for its construction, the ability to take positive action and to give hope to Haiti. The AGHS makes people believe that they must continue to trust in Haiti because that will bring about change.
Let’s continue to do Konbit.
